Addressing Unmet Needs
A convergence of factors, including increasing demand for imaging studies and COVID-related burnout, is exacerbating a global shortage of radiologists.1
Radiologists' personal productivity and efficiency are critically important for both improving patient outcomes and protecting radiologist well-being, particularly given recent trends toward increased workloads, increased complexity of examinations, decreased reimbursement, and demands for shorter turnaround times.2
